Howard has made a career of helping young people understand and embrace politics.
Handpicked by Atlanta's first African-American mayor at age 23 to serve as Chief Executive Officer of the American Voters League, Inc., he went on to work as a consultant for the city's first female mayor, coordinating community relations events to highlight water conservation . He co-founded PoliticalCocktails.com, a drinks and discussion series for young professionals , and is a columnist with Georgia Political Digest. When he's not working to get young people engaged, he's hard at work getting them elected -- serving on the campaign committee for 33-year old City Councilmember H. Lamar Willis, working as deputy campaign manager for 34-year-old City Councilmember Kwanza Hall and most recently as campaign manager for 31-year-old Shyam Reddy, candidate for Secretary of State.
